Overview
The prayers for the out-of-work at church are getting
almost cliché. Every week, we pray for those looking,
looking, looking for jobs. We pray that God opens doors
and provides opportunities. We pray for patience and
for dollars to stretch.
As more and more people in our communities and
congregations lose their jobs, we just keep praying.
It’s a scary time, especially as it seems many of those
prayers are going “unanswered.” And we’re reminded
again that God’s timeline is not our own.
